The design of the space envisions the idea of the essence of the forest to inspire the brands ethos of plant/flower-derived beauty. The design embodies a “chic”, minimalist design in its aesthetic to create a contemporary experience for a progressive Indian beauty brand. Various elements in the design create the retail experience. The first being the color palette which plays an important role in the type of the product. The “Biotique brand” has two product ranges:
The first is the “Botanicals” range, which uses a green colour in their range and is available in a modest price ranges.
The second is the “Advanced” range – “It is a precise blend of 100% natural botanicals and biologically advanced ingredients essential to healthy skin life, stimulate cell renewal and elevate hydration and nutrition levels.“ It is available in a higher price range and uses white and silver in its color palette.
To elaborate this idea the color palette creates an interesting contrast of green and white in the design of the store.
The second element in the design is the experience of the consultation, for this a beautiful consultation table in polished Satvario marble with a sink (also in satvario marble),which has been carved by hand with the design of the logo in an organic pattern. The leaf pattern also cascades down in the form of a chandelier. In the chandelier the leaves are made of glass and have been carefully designed to create a feeling of a waterfall. These subtle details, highlight the simplicity in the design yet creating a complete solution in the design of the space.
