The “Biotique Royal” brand exudes luxury and recalls an experience of the royal palaces of Indian architecture. The classical black and white marble flooring is characteristic of Indian palaces in Rajasthan along with classical wooden furniture with dark wood polish, which serves as an inspiration for this design. The use of “gold” detailing set in a modern manner also takes inspiration from the palaces. This feeling of luxury exemplifies a classical modern design which inspires luxury and decadence. The cabinet style for the display cases is modern with a hint of luxury with golden edges. Dark wood polish with floating golden framed metal shelves create a beautiful backdrop for the new range of “Royal” luxurious range of products for the brand. The ceiling is enhanced with a stepped molding’s painted in gold “texture paint” which creates a feeling of yesteryears of the palaces glory and magnificence. A crystal chandelier in the ceiling adds to this glory. Center tables for product display are simple and elegant in white Indian marble with gold edging and legs. The façade becomes a major show stopper, clad in gold sheet with a combination of back lit and front lit golden letters creating a statement for the brand.

The design of the space envisions the idea of the essence of the forest to inspire the brands ethos of plant/flower-derived beauty. The design embodies a “chic”, minimalist design in its aesthetic to create a contemporary experience for a progressive Indian beauty brand. Various elements in the design create the retail experience. The first being the color palette which plays an important role in the type of the product. The second element in the design is the experience of the consultation, for this a beautiful consultation table in polished Satuario marble with a sink (also in satuario marble),which has been carved by hand with the design of the logo in an organic pattern. These subtle details, highlight the simplicity in the design yet creating a complete solution in the design of the space.

Biotique-Botanicals is modern, young and chic in character. For this we envisioned a clean modern lab like environment with an accent of green color tone as a highlight to the design. The color green used in the cabinet work, frames and the textured pattern in the back lit shelving create different tonal variations of green which mimic nature. The White and neutral wood shades offset the green shades, creating a feel of the forest in the retail experience.

Various elements in the design create the retail experience. The first being the color palette which plays an important role in the type of the product. The “Biotique brand” has two product ranges:

The first is the “Botanicals” range, which uses a green colour in their range and is available in a modest price ranges.

The second is the “Advanced” range – “It is a precise blend of 100% natural botanicals and biologically advanced ingredients essential to healthy skin life, stimulate cell renewal and elevate hydration and nutrition levels.“ It is available in a higher price range and uses white and silver in its color palette.

To elaborate this idea the color palette creates an interesting contrast of green and white in the design of the store.

The second element in the design is the experience of the consultation, for this a beautiful consultation table in polished Satvario marble with a sink (also in satvario marble),which has been carved by hand with the design of the logo in an organic pattern. The leaf pattern also cascades down in the form of a chandelier. In the chandelier the leaves are made of glass and have been carefully designed to create a feeling of a waterfall. These subtle details, highlight the simplicity in the design yet creating a complete solution in the design of the space.
